Justice Resource Institute (JRI) seeks a Treatment Manager for the New Bedford Juvenile Resource Center (NBJRC). The NBJRC is an intensive day treatment program for up to 25 juvenile offenders on probation in Bristol County, or on parole to the Department of Youth Services. The NBJRC is administered by the Office of Community Corrections (OCC). JRI works effectively with OCC, New Bedford Public Schools, and the Office of Juvenile Probation. The Treatment Manager is responsible for overall oversight and management of the clinical model and services, leading a small team of two clinicians, and effectively interfacing with OCC, probation officers, teachers, monitoring staff, the juvenile court, families, and community services. Psychoeducational and cognitive behavioral group counseling is the primary clinical modality. This position requires skills and experience in leadership, management and supervision, clinical curricula development and implementation, treatment planning, and case management. Relevant masters level clinical experience in substance abuse treatment or mental health is required. Group counseling skills are essential. Efficient, timely, and well-written report writing is critical to success. A master's degree is required.
