How does coaching work?
To obtain sustained growth and change, coaching requires a minimum commitment of 3 months.
We will schedule regular meetings in person and/or via telephone and e-mail.Sessions usually occur 3 to 4 times a month (1 session per week) depending upon the needs of the client. The duration of each session is typically 45 - 60 minutes.
Meetings are structured to fit the learning style of each leader to accomplish his or her particular goals.

Coaching sessions must be prepaid as a retainer fee before services are rendered.
What are some of the things that will happen during my coaching sessions?
- Assessing - An essential part of coaching is assessing your leadership and managerial strengths and areas in need further development.
- Prioritizing – Based on the information received from the assessment, we will identify and prioritize key developmental objectives to work on. Defining expectations of the job is a key element of this process. For example, we may examine expectations of supervisors, supervisees and clients. In regards to these expectations, determine the parts you feel confident about and the areas in need more attention/development.
- Hearing, receiving & giving feedback – Giving feedback is an essential part of the coaching relationship and being open to and receiving feedback is one of the most important skills needed to maximize productivity and success.
- Planning & strategizing– We will brainstorm together on strategies and approaches including engaging in role-playing scenarios, if needed, to help you achieve your professional and personal goals.
