Expert Support, at Your Side

Human service work can be challenging and complicated. Effective supervision and consultation supports those who do this work, with the ultimate goal of providing clients with the best possible service and care.

The Clinical Consultation Program at Realize Resources provides supervision and consultation by experienced licensed mental health professionals to human service agencies in the Greater Boston/Metrowest area. Our clinical staff have expertise in a wide variety of relevant topics and populations, including: adolescents and adults; mental health and substance use issues; HIV/AIDS; LGBT populations; domestic violence; homelessness; and those who are or have been imprisoned.

Consultation services are provided on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, depending on the needs of the organization, and can be done in an individual or group setting. Using an interactive and strengths-based approach, our clinicians support direct care staff and program directors to help them develop clinical skills, increase competency, and follow standards for ethical practice. Common areas of focus for clinical supervision and consultation include understanding clinical issues that clients present with, managing personal issues related to the work, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
