The Educational Philosophy of the Meadowridge Schools is to provide a complete, high-quality educational experience for each student within a safe, therapeutic environment. The Meadowridge Schools community believes that, although most of the students have experienced significant challenges within the traditional educational system, that all children can learn, and can meet high, realistic standards. Educational and career/technical programming is designed for each student based on his or her assessed needs and future goals. With support, it is the goal of the Meadowridge Schools to prepare each student to become as independent as possible. In addition, the Meadowridge Schools strive to produce self-sufficient, socially conscious citizens who are adaptable to change; have consideration for others; possess self-esteem, and skills to continue individual growth; embody cooperation and respect for varying points of view; are able to problem-solve and think critically; and understand and appreciate individual and cultural differences.
