Disability Services of Justice Resource Institute provide opportunities for people with disabilities to live, work and enjoy their lives in accessible and enriching community settings.  Our commitment to social justice is to open the door of opportunity to all, regardless of ability. Well-trained and dedicated Staff provide care and coordinate services to individuals in homes and apartments, in employment work training settings, and in day habilitation programs.  The individuals we support receive individually-designed supports and services to experience success in their daily lives and able to live full lives and achieve their dreams. 

Our individualized services and supports focus on developing and using the skills necessary to enjoy living as a valued member of the community.  Many individuals receive specialized clinical and medical services due to specific behavioral and health care needs.  Some have mild to moderate learning disabilities and emotional or mental health needs or challenging behaviors.  Others have severe cognitive impairments with physical and/or medical disabilities requiring extensive supports and adapted environments.  Some have traumatic brain injuries and benefit from a rehabilitative focus in their home and day environments. 

While JRI’s Disability Programs and Supports offers a comprehensive array of individualized services in a variety of community settings, our core mission is to foster personal growth and promote maximum independence for each person.  We measure our success in many ways, the most satisfying is in recognizing the self-confidence and wonderful friendships people develop along the way.  As one woman we have supported for over 28 years declared, “I love JRI - the staff really care about me.”
