The GRIP Project - Home

At Berkshire Meadows, we believe that all children, no matter how severe their disabilities, can make progress in the right environment and with the right help. Through careful assessment, coordinated planning, and skillful treatment, we help children with severe disabilities achieve their fullest potential. Berkshire Meadows staff members are dedicated to providing the best care and education that expertise, technology, and experience can offer.

The Right People Making a World of Difference!
To carry out this all-important work, we hire people who share our beliefs and who have a rare mix of qualities: insight, resourcefulness, creativity, enthusiasm, optimism, patience, energy, and a passion for helping others. As a result, the children at Berkshire Meadows are served by one of the most committed, qualified, and effective staff teams in our profession.

Long-term Commitments and Relationships
More than half of our staff members have worked at Berkshire Meadows for 10 years or more, and the average tenure of professional, management, and clinical staff exceeds 20 years. Our staff’s high morale and low turnover help create a positive and familiar environment, a deeper understanding of residents’ needs, and strong ties between staff and residents.

Dedicated to Continuous Improvement
All staff members receive ongoing training and professional development to enable us to stay up-to-date and to continually adapt and refine our approaches to better meet students’ needs.

Compassionate and Nurturing Environment
Berkshire Meadows’ focus on helping individuals with severe developmental disabilities and our compassionate and dedicated staff enable us to form a close-knit and caring community.  We facilitate, acknowledge, and celebrate each individual’s step-by-step progress toward well-planned goals.
