The Lanewood Program is an off campus satellite program of Glenhaven Academy. Lanewood is unique because of its small size, few behavioral disruptions and ability to create extremely individualized plans for all student in the program. (usually only 6 – 8 students reside at Lanewood at any given time).

Lanewood is designed for students ages 16 – 24 years old with mental health issues and has a strong focus on teaching independent living skills. The home like setting in a suburban neighborhood in Framingham, MA allows girls a safe, comfortable place to address their issues and grow into strong, healthy, young women.

On campus therapy and a therapeutic milieu allows all students to continue to move forward in their overall treatment. All students receive individual and group treatment on a weekly basis. Family therapy is also available to all students where appropriate and monthly (more often as needed) psychiatric care is provided through the program as well.

All students attend school at our Glenhaven main campus and have the opportunity to go into a specialized classroom which focuses intensively on independent living skills. All educational services are approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education.

We believe this unique program has supported young women who are transitioning into adulthood and who are in need of positive role modeling, ongoing clinical support, structure and the teaching of new life skills.
