Urban Youth Institute

The Urban Youth Institute is an umbrella program that consists of health and social justice projects geared toward urban youth. It provides direct linkages to HIV Counseling and testing, case-management, mobile, street and community outreach, advocacy and referral services. UYI providces various circles groups where youth meet to discuss the challenges they face and ways to support one another. A wide range of diverse support groups and events, ranging from young women's health issues to young men's empowerment groups, is offered. The Urban Youth Institute is co-sited with Boston GLASS Community Center.
