The Center for Training & Professional Development (CTPD) is a community capacity building program that designs and presents developmentally and linguistically accessible curricula and trainings for the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, placing special emphasis on a participatory approach to education that is consistent with adult learning principles. CTPD also provides management and organizational consultation and technical assistance to non-profit community-based organizations, with the goal of supporting the long-term stability and viability of these organizations and enhancing their capacity to most effectively serve the needs of their communities.
